Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ASK and AZINNEX
On November 22, 2018, the E-Government Development Center hosted a reporting event dedicated to the one-year activity of the “Azerbaijan Innovations Export Consortium” Public Union (AZINNEX). Representatives of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, diplomatic corps, international organizations and heads of companies attended the event. During the event, the Consortium provided information on the work carried out during the past period, as well as the cooperation in the local and international areas.
Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev said AZINNEX, established at the initiative of the agency, is working to improve the position of our country in the international rankings and to form intellectual, innovative and competitive potential. AZINNEX is directly involved in the export of the Azerbaijani brand ASAN service to other countries as an intellectual product. In addition to the ASAN service model, AZINNEX is also a platform for exporting various IT products and services owned by local companies.
Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Iqbal Babayev, deputy head of AIDA Aliya Aghazadeh, acting president of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev spoke about the presentation of local IT products in the world market, AZINNEX highly appreciated the work done in this direction.
Chairman of the AZINNEX Supervisory Board, Yana Krimpe, highlighted that the consortium maintains its interests and maintains information and communication technology companies and is represented in the international market and sells IT products. The Chairman emphasized the role of state support in the achievements in the field of IT.
Later, AZINNEX’s Supervisory Board member, President of SINAM Limited Liability Company Elchin Aliyev made a presentation reflecting the activities of the consortium.
The Azerbaijan Innovation Export Consortium and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document was signed by Vugar Zeynalov, the vice-president of the ASK and the chairman of the AZINNEX Supervisory Board, Yana Krimpe. The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Azerbaijan (ASK) and Azerbaijan Innovations Export Consortium (AZINNEX) is to provide export promotion and export of products and services in the direction of innovative information and communication technologies, development and implementation of joint strategies to build and develop mutually beneficial relationships with initiatives.
At the end of the event partners of the Consortium were awarded and certificates were given to the members.
