ASK Commission on “Work with Young Entrepreneurs” discussed the results of the pandemic
A meeting of the Commission on “Work with Young Entrepreneurs” operating under the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ASK) was held. The meeting was dedicated to the discussion of the coronavirus pandemic and ways out of the crisis, the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs.
ASK Vice-President Vugar Zeynalov said that the Azerbaijani government has announced a package of financial assistance to entrepreneurs. And this allowed to partially reduce the losses of the business. However, the heavy workload still falls on the shoulders of entrepreneurs. Noting that most entrepreneurs are unaware of modern business models, Zeynalov said “it is time to innovate in management and business approach, most companies do not even have strategic plans,” and advised to properly assess the risks of business in the upcoming months.
Shamsi Bayramzadeh, a member of the commission, said that companies should have alternative sales channels. Calling this period a “technological turning point”, the entrepreneur stressed the need to take advantage of online systems.
Young entrepreneurs Khayala Mammadova and Hikmat Aliyev noted that sales through the digital platform are still weak in our country. Opinions were voiced on raising the level of online service in Azerbaijan and solving existing problems in delivery.
Chairman of the commission Allahverdi Pashayev stressed in his speech that the Azerbaijani government has announced a package of support and mechanisms to minimize the damage to entrepreneurs. In the next period, entrepreneurs need to gradually restore production and services. In conclusion, the ASK commissions, in turn, should increase their activity and continue the policy of raising literacy among entrepreneurs.
