Ways to strengthen the activities of business associations were discussed

An online meeting was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Economy Niyazi Safarov and President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev to discuss improving the efficiency of business associations, strengthening coordination and improving the legal framework.

At the event, Deputy Minister of Economy Niyazi Safarov stressed the work done to continuously improve the business environment, improve the legislative framework in this area, the production of high quality, competitive products using modern technologies, and systematic state support for entrepreneurship. The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of developing public-private partnerships and expanding cooperation with the ASK  in this area.

ASK President Mammad Musayev noted  the role of entrepreneurship in economic development. He emphasized that the President invited Azerbaijani businessmen living abroad to invest in our country. Mr. Musayev  also added that the ASK has foreign representatives in 18 countries, and measures will be taken to stimulate investment in Azerbaijan through these representatives.

Speakers at the event made proposals to strengthen the activities of sectoral associations, and discussions were held.
