The Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation held a meeting related to the activities of the “Yaşat” Foundation
As it is known, on December 8, 2020, in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the country, the “Yaşat” Foundation was created to support the families of the wounded and martyrs. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have been actively donating to the Foundation following this Decree, which was met with great sympathy in the society.
President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev held a meeting with the participation of vice-presidents, advisers and the executive office of the Confederation to further mobilize entrepreneurs in the transfer of donations to the “Yaşat” Foundation and ensure the sustainability of these benevolent steps.
Mammad Musayev noted that the 44-day war united our people around a fist and as a result of the President-Army-People’s Union, our lands were liberated from occupation. “If the soil is spilled water, it will become mud, if blood is shed, it will be the Homeland,” mentioning these words, the President noted that as a result of self-sacrifice, the heroism of the National Army were written glorious pages of our history: “We are always indebted to the families of martyrs and veterans, and we must do our best to improve their social conditions.” Then at the meeting vice-presidents of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Vugar Abbasov, Vugar Zeynalov, Jhale Hajiyeva, Zakir Nuriyev, Zakir Azimov informed about the assistance provided by our organizations to our veterans and families of martyrs.
M.Musayev instructed Azerbaijani businessmen living outside the country and the ASK representatives abroad to provide relevant information. At the same time, the Fund decided to accept appeals from Azerbaijani entrepreneurs operating in the country and abroad, aimed at providing the business community with additional information on both accounts, including Nakhchivan.
“It is known that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on entrepreneurship in our country, but this is our common work and we must be more active,” noting, the President of the Confederation called on all businessmen to join the solid initiative of President Ilham Aliyev to work not once, but constantly in this direction.
