The management of ASK and TOBB discussed the possibilities of establishing commodity exchanges in Azerbaijan

On July 2, 2020 a webinar on the establishment and operation mechanisms of commodity exchanges with the participation of the delegations of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), as well as representatives of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Council was held.

During the event, issues like establishment of commodity exchanges in Azerbaijan and the role of the ASK, the best practices of the TOBB, as well as the operation mechanisms of the exchange and opportunities for future support of the TOBB to ASK in this area were discussed.

The meeting continued with an extensive presentation by Mr. Yigit Atesh, Chairman of the Stock Exchanges of TOBB and a

discussion of issues of mutual interest.
