The 2nd General Assembly Of The Turkic Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Was Held

The 2nd General Assembly of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) held an online meeting on November 24. Twelve issues on the agenda, including the establishment of Turkic Trade Houses, business forums, B2B meetings and other issues were discussed at the meeting.

Speaking at the opening session, President of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry M.Rifat Hisarciklioglu congratulated the Azerbaijani people and the entire Turkic world on the victory of our glorious Army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Highly appreciating the meeting of the Chamber’s leaders in Baku on November 2, Hisarcikoglu said that the implementation of the decisions taken in Azerbaijan has begun. “I am waiting for your projects, we are all in the middle of the historic Silk Road and we must actively use this corridor. I want to say that we have decided to open the first Turkic Trade House in Azerbaijan,” Rifat Hisarciklioglu said.

The Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, congratulated Azerbaijan on the great victory and recalled with great satisfaction the reception of the delegation by President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting in Baku on November 2. He invited member organizations to share information about the economic opportunities and potential of their countries on a common platform. The Secretary General made proposals to intensify the activities of the organization in various areas, to support women and young entrepreneurs.

President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev thanked the participants for their valuable comments on the Baku meeting. “We have entered a new era of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan. We appreciate your decision to establish the first Turkic Trade House in Azerbaijan,” he said.

Presentations were made at the meeting on TCCI members’ establishment of Commodity Exchanges, Turkish Models for Women and Young Entrepreneurs Committees, and Online Training: SMEs and the Digital Transformation for E-Commerce. By the way, the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation has agreed to establish a pilot commodity exchange in Goranboy region based on the experience of TOBB.

President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry László Parragh, President of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marat Sharshekeyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Ayan Yeren addressed the meeting. Finally, the assembly announced its decision to hold the 3rd Turkic Business Forum organized by Kyrgyzstan and the Turkish-Hungarian Business Forum organized by Hungary and B2B meetings next year.
