A meeting of ASK Commission on “Work with Construction Enterprises” was held

A meeting of the Commission on Work with Construction Enterprises operating under the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation was held. At the meeting, it was discussed the implementation of a program of support for wages in construction companies affected by the coronavirus pandemic, tax breaks, the situation with bank loans.

The meeting was held with the participation of the ASK Vice-President Vugar Abbasov.

Shahin Mammadov, Chairman of the Commission on Work with Construction Enterprises, spoke about the current situation, noting that activity in the construction sector also weakened during the quarantine period. Later on, the entrepreneurs reported on the current situation. Companies working in the field of construction materials discussed the sharp decline in sales in the past, the payment of salaries to workers in the construction sector.

ASK Vice-President Vugar Abbsov stressed that the construction sector plays a main role in the economy and pursues many areas. Therefore, he stressed the importance of lending, especially soft loans, so that the sector does not stop. V.Abbasov proposed to apply tax benefits to the construction sector and provide credit benefits.

The lawyer of ASK – Khagan Hummatzadeh answered the questions of entrepreneurs on rent and other issues. At the end of the meeting, the proposals were collected and documented.
