The deadline for applications to participate in the initial training of mediators extended
The deadline for applications to participate in the initial training of mediators has been extended.
The Mediation Council received more than 200 appeals. Applicants will be involved in training in small groups. The Mediation Council is currently in discussions with the mediation training body regarding the involvement of applicants in the trainings.
However, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the trainings were postponed in accordance with the relevant requirements and recommendations of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, and a decision was made to extend the deadline for applications.
We would like to remind you that only people who have reached the age of 25, have 3 years of official work experience and higher education in any specialty can participate in the initial training of mediators. Basic mediation training will be conducted for 48 hours in the relevant mediation training institution, and specialized mediation training will be conducted for 64 hours. Anyone who registers and is interested in participating in the training will be informed about the conditions of participation in the training. The timing of the trainings will be determined later due to the current situation in the country, and each participant will be informed in advance.
