Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation appealed to entrepreneurs
The National Entrepreneurs Confederation (Employers) Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan supports preventive measures implemented by the Azerbaijani government to prevent spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our country. It is important for everyone to implement these measures to protect human life and health. The Azerbaijani business community also demonstrates the most progressive, humane behavior in protecting the health of society and its employees. Appropriate measures are taken by employers to protect human health in accordance with instructions and recommendations of the Operational Headquarters established under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
For sure, health of Azerbaijani citizens is basis of all goals. At the same time, it should be noted that applied restrictions caused to weaker economic activity in trade, services, tourism, transport, logistics and a number of other sectors. We would like to emphasize that the impact of restrictions on micro, small and medium enterprises is even more noticeable. Therefore, such entrepreneurs need more support to continue their activities, as well as to protect jobs.
For several days, the National Entrepreneurs Confederation (Employers) Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been in close contact with all business entities that are members and monitors their economic situation. For this purpose, written request was sent to entrepreneurs and several hotlines were provided. Incoming inquiries are currently being collected and analyzed.
The National Entrepreneurs Confederation (Employers) Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan considers that because of successful economic policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, favorable business environment for the development of entrepreneurship has been formed in country. We believe that we can overcome risks created by the coronavirus pandemic for the world and country’s economy in public-private partnership. To this end, the Entrepreneurs Confederation shows solidarity with private sector, which it represents, and forces them to be active in finding common way out of difficulties as social partner of state.
As the Entrepreneurs Confederation, we recommend that all entrepreneurs who are members of the Confederation strictly follow all instructions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
