“Social dialogue in Azerbaijan”
Delegation of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (ASK) by leadership of ASK President Mr. Mammadov participated in the Study Tour to Germany within the project on “Social Dialogue in Azerbaijan” signed between the ASK and Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The purpose of the Study Tour was to learn German experience on social dialogue, to exchange experience on collective bargaining and settlement of labour disputes. Delegation of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (ASK) by leadership of ASK President Mr. Mammadov participated in the Study Tour to Germany within the project on “Social Dialogue in Azerbaijan” signed between the ASK and Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The purpose of the Study Tour was to learn German experience on social dialogue, to exchange experience on collective bargaining and settlement of labour disputes.
The first day of trip the ASK delegation had series of meetings in the German Employers’ Union and Industrial Federal Union in Berlin. The meetings were aimed at discussing cooperation perspectives between organizations.
Moreover, some meetings were held in the German NORDMETALL, GESAMTMETALL and Caterpillar Horose companies, when the accent was made on importance of creating the new cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and German companies.
The third day of Study Tour the ASK delegation had a meeting with Mr. Helmut Holter, member of parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern province in Schwerin. In the course of the meeting Mr. Helmut Holter informed the ASK delegation on close cooperation relations existing between parliament and German Employers’ Organization as well as participation of employers in the discussion of new laws.
Thus, the bilateral contract between the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (ASK) and Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on social dialogue project was signed on February 2009 in Hasenwinkel. The contract on behalf of the ASK was signed by ASK President Mr. Mammadov and Ms. Ute Tomspon director of Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on behalf of Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
