The main aim of the publishing of the book is to give information on the situation of women entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, their problems arisen and supportive factors, the ways to success and finally popularization of women entrepreneurship.
No to child labour
The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs` (Employers`) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic focuses its activity within the project on the “Role of employers in elimination of child labour in the commercial agriculture”, implementing at the support of the ILO ACT/EMP Programme, on employers` awareness-raising on risks and hazards the children dealing with agricultural works can be exposed.
In this respect, employers lack need of distinct action plan to take concrete steps in the child labour combat. From this point of view, the project work group managed to issue some training aids for the employers. The present “NO to child labour” book well describes strategy and specific activities for employers as regards eliminating child labour.
Moreover, this publication highlights National report on use of child labour in the agricultural sector with special emphasis on cotton-growing sphere of Azerbaijan.
Productivity and competitiveness The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs` (Employers`) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic at the support of International Labour Organization published a book named “Productivity and Competitiveness” for employers-entrepreneurs.
The concept of productivity, competition, competitiveness and quality, their application were approached comprehensively in the global economic scope, including national and enterprise levels, in the present Employers Handbook. The book included general information on productivity indicators as tools for productivity and competitiveness increase, principles of quality management (TQM, ISO 9000, etc.) analytical data covering international and national legislative acts on productivity and competitiveness, and extracts from the acts.
The role of entrepreneurs in combating corruption
The cooperation of employers’ (entrepreneurs) public unions with international such as ILO, UNDP, World Bank, USA International Development Agency (USAID) is of great importance for combating corruption. The visual demonstration of above-said is “The strengthening role of employers’ (entrepreneurs) and their public unions in combating corruption” Project implemented by AEC with the support of Eurasia Foundation Azerbaijan representation and funded by USAID.

This manual has been prepared within the project “Increasing transparency among employers-entrepreneurs in the regions of Azerbaijan Republic and awareness – raising concerning national strategy on combating corruption” by support of the Commission of the Azerbaijan Republic on Combating Corruption.
“Productivity and competitiveness” Manual for trainers has been published within the project “Capacity building of employers organization on productivity and competitiveness in Azerbaijan” by the İLO technical support .This ASK publication highlights such issues being of great interest for employers as role of productivity and competitiveness in the global economy, productivity and competitiveness at enterprise and national levers, international and national legislation on productivity and competitiveness, etc.
Training Modules for Employers as regards eliminating the worst forms of child labour have been published within the ILO ACT/EMP Programme on elimination of child labour. The key goal of the present publication server for training of trainers on child labour as well as employers` awareness-raising concerning the worst forms of child labour and strengthening their role in combating child labour.
Elimination of hazardous child labour in the agricultural sector
This manual is the sequel to the publications of instructional character, prepared by AEC for employers. The distinction of the manual is that a special attention here is given to hazardous child labour or rather to the reveal of risks and hazards for children in the agricultural sector. The training manual can be used not only by employers, but all the parties concerned with the elimination of child labour.
HIV/AIDS and workplaces Training Modules for Employers
These training modules prepared for employers have been published by technical support of the International Labour Organization. ILO various HIV/AIDS publications, ILO Code of Practice, national legislative dokuments and İLO relevant Conventions served a benefit for preparation of training aids. All information as regards HIV/AIDS situation in Azerbaijan were derived from Republic Aids Control Center and internet resources of other interested organizations.
