SUMMARY:Seminar on possibilities of financing through securities market for entrepreneurs was held in Ganja
DESCRIPTION:“Capital Markets Financing and Corporate Governance” was held in Ganja jointly organized by the Chamber of Control of Financial Markets of the Republic of Azerbaijan and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK). \nEmployees of the Chamber and the Baku Stock Exchange made presentations\, attended by over 70 entrepreneurs from Ganja-Gazakh economic region. The presentations covered topics such as “Capital Markets Finance”\, “Listing Advisory Program”\, “State Register of Contingent Assets”\, “Protection and Enlightenment of Investors in Financial Markets”. \nOpening the event\, the vice president of the AEC\, Vugar Zeynalov\, called on entrepreneurs to take advantage of the opportunities of funding through equity markets as an alternative to classic funding sources. \nIn the speech on capital market\, experts of the Chamber were informed about ways to attract funds from the securities market\, stock and bond issues\, listing on stock exchanges\, corporate governance\, as well as other issues related to the capital market. \nRepresentative of the Baku Stock Exchange Business Development Group spoke about “Listing Advisory Program” at the presentation. It was noted that the “Listing Advisory Program” was created by the Baku Stock Exchange to address people’s awareness of the capital markets. Companies within the framework of this program are financed through financial markets\, but those companies that do not have market knowledge are fully supported by a free basis. \nAt the end of the event\, employees of the Chamber and the Baku Stock Exchange responded to entrepreneurs’ questions. \n
