The commission “Work with health and sports organizations” reformed
A meeting was held to reform the composition of the Commission on Work with Health and Sports, operating under the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was attended by the leaders of leading companies working in the field of health and sports, the prefect of the Azerbaijan Medical University and the heads of medical institutions.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, Kristina Mammadova, welcomed the members of the Commission and said that the Confederation, as an organization representing entrepreneurs and employers is interested inbringing private companies and enterprises operating in health and sports field together.
- Mammadova noted that the Commission will become a platform for establishing closer ties and discussing existing problems. From this perspective, the work of the Commission on Health and Sport, which operates within the framework of the AEC, needs to be stepped up. K. Mammadova urged members of the Commission to discuss issues for private health and sports, make interesting proposals and actively participatein the field.
Kristina Mammadova said in her speech that there is a need to revise the composition of the Commission and to elect its chairman and deputy chairmen. The chairman of the commission, Ramiz Aliyev, was elected General Director of Turkish-American Medical Center.
Later, Ramiz Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the trust he had made and said that there was a need for a lot of work to increase the effectiveness of the Commission’s further activities. First, he informed the members of the commission and then invited the participants to take an active part in the discussions. He also mentioned that a few relevant experts and professors were invited to the agenda and their opinions were very important for the commission’s work.
The head of the AEC Legal and Labor Relations Department, Khagan Hummatzada, spoke about the Commission’s draft regulations to the participants and clarified the issues stipulated in the Statute on the Commission’s activity.
At the event, after the Chairman and other members made comments and proposals to the Statute, the draft Regulation was renewed and decided to be re-discussed at the next meeting.
The cooperation of the AzerbaijanEntrepreneurs Confederation with state bodies in this field was also discussed.
The meeting continued with discussions on strategic directions and future action plans.
It should be noted that the Commission will establish its activity in accordance with the Strategic Road Map of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the national economy.
