ASK will continue its activities at the new address
A meeting was held on the opening of new office of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation (ASK). The ASK will continue its activities at Landmark III, floor 2, Nizami street 90A.
Representatives of government agencies, social partners, scientific institutions, international organizations and many entrepreneurs took part in the meeting.
ASK President Mammad Musayev welcomed the participants and stated that the Confederation was established on 5 March 1999 and was registered on April 9, 1999. ASK is the largest public association of employers in the Republic of Azerbaijan and is a supporting organization that coordinates the activities of legal and natural persons involved in entrepreneurial activity and protects their rights and interests. The Confederation incorporates more than 6,000 large and medium-sized businesses, including about 70 economic and social associations and unions.
It was noted that in trilateral order to determine the socio-economic policy and regulation of labor relations in Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Trade Unions Confederation and the ASK will fulfill the obligations confederation as the founder of the employer and the social partner in the General Collective Agreement, which has been signed over two years. ASK is a member of the International Employers’ Organization, World Association of NGOs, International Industrialists and Entrepreneurship Congress, Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Business Council of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States, Silk Road International Chamber of Commerce and other influential international organizations. At present, the ASK has its official representation in 13 countries. The organization cooperates closely with foreign missions and international organizations.
Giving a speech at the event, Deputy Minister of Economy Niyazi Safarov highlighted the work carried out within the framework of the successful industrial policy pursued by the head of state, spoke about systematic measures taken to promote entrepreneurship, to improve the business environment and increase the economic and investment activity in our country, and highlighted the success of the Confederation evaluated.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Metin Kerimli, Chairman of the Agency for Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) of Azerbaijan Orkhan Mammadov, Executive Director of the Economic Reform Analysis and Communication Center Vusal Gasimli and other speakers highly appreciated the work of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs’ Confederation and wished success in the future.
