Agreement was reached on signing a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation between the ASK and the TAIB
On April 19, 2019 with the organizational support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey a new board founding meeting of the Azerbaijani Business Association in Turkey (TAIB) was held in Istanbul, Turkey. The main purpose of the event was to unite Azerbaijani businessmen in Turkey on a unified platform and to discuss their plans on involvement cooperation with other third countries. ASK was represented by Deputy Secretary General Fuad Humbatov at the event.
ASK representative held meetings with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim, Chairman of the TAIB Management Board Mehdi Nagiyev, Deputy Chairman of TAIB Management Board Mikayil Yusifov, Head of Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Council Selcuk Akat, General Director of SOCAR Turkey Tural Mammadov and PASHA Investment Bank’s Financial Institutions Investor Relations Manager Mustafa Duman, the representative of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul and other official.
During the meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim, Mr. Fuad Humbatov conveyed greetings of ASK President M. Musayev and provided broad information about the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation’s both internal and abroad activity as the largest business support organization, also as a social partner participation at the implemented reforms in the country’s socio-economic spheres, cooperation with international and donor organizations, and the activities of foreign representatives.
Ambassador Kh. Ibrahim congratulated the ASK staff and all entrepreneurs on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of organization and emphasized the establishment of the TAIB such a significant month.
Then, an agreement was reached on signing a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the ASK and the TAIB in collaboration with third countries, as well as in international projects during the meeting with the Chairman of the TAIB Board of Directors. At the sideline of the meeting with other businessmen and officials the prospects of joint activity were discussed.
