A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Russian National Grain Center and the ASK
The meeting was held on May 14, 2019 at the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by the Director of the National Grain Center named after P.Lukyanenko, the State Scientific Budget Organization of the Russian Federation, academician Alexander Romanenko.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Agricultural Research Institute and various companies operating in the relevant field.
During the meeting, members of the Russian delegation stated that the new varieties were more productive, and even a record productivity of “Alexeyavka” was obtained: 130 centners per hectare. In Azerbaijan, farmers are sold with low quality Russian salmon, and therefore, the breeders have decided to meet with businesses and businessmen in this area.
Alexander Romanenko, who shares views with the members of the “Agrarian Development Commission” within the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, said he was reviewing several grain fields in Azerbaijan and was satisfied with the results: “It’s worth the effort”.
The Azerbaijani entrepreneurs engaged in grain farming provided information on the problems in this area. In particular, discussions were held on the adaptation of new varieties to geographical conditions.
Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Scientific Center of the State Scientific Budget Organization of the Russian Federation “National Grain Center named after P.Lukyanenko” and the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation (ASK).
