The Representative Of ASK In Turkey Met With The Governor Of Izmir

The representative of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) in Turkey Asif Gurban, a member of the board of the Azerbaijan Brotherhood and Cooperation Association, businessman Kanan Karimli met with the Governor of Izmir city of the Republic of Turkey Yavuz Selim Koshger.

A.Gurban conveyed the greetings of the ASK President Mammad Musayev to the Governor of the brother country and informed about the principles of the organization’s activity and its success in the international arena. He informed about the business mission of Izmir businessmen to Azerbaijan organized by the ASK at the end of last year.

A.Gurban noted that along with individual entrepreneurs, Azerbaijan also has large investments in Turkey at the state level, and he emphasized the success of the SOCAR PETKIM project.

At the same time, he brought to the attention of Y.S.Koshger that there are high-level cooperation relations between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the ASK, as a result of this relation and in order to increase economic ties and trade turnover between both countries the Turkish-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum (TAC) established by ASK and TOBB.

Y.S.Koshger noted that the trade turnover between our countries has increased and he is satisfied with the level of mutual investments. He noted that all opportunities have been created for entrepreneurs form Azerbaijan to operate in the Izmir region and they will do their best to overcome future difficulties.

Afterwards, A.Gurban held discussions on the arrangement of a business mission to Azerbaijan with the participation of Izmir Governor Y.S.Koshger as soon as possible the health conditions allow.
