The book “We are Turks! Our Ceiling is the Heaven!” was presented in an online video conference format.
The book “We are Turks! Our Ceiling is the Heaven!” opens with valuable thoughts of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev – “We want the unity between the Turkic-speaking peoples and countries to be even stronger. This is our history, our culture, our roots ” and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan – ,“The Turkic nation has not yet been recognized! We die once, we live a thousand times. This is our character. ”
The presentation was attended by ambassadors of Turkic-speaking countries to Azerbaijan, the Turkic Council, the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries, representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic-speaking countries, MPs and entrepreneurs from Turkey and Azerbaijan.
In his welcoming speech, Academician Nizami Jafarov noted that it is time for Turks to write their own history.
“The presentation of this book on September 15, the day when Baku was liberated from occupation by the Caucasus Islamic Army, is also symbolic. Azerbaijan and Turkey are an example to the world with their spiritual unity, ”the academician said. He also stressed that the book “We are Turks! Our Ceiling is the Heaven!” will play an important role in shaping future generations. ”

Professor Alamdar Shahverdiyev congratulated the whole Turkic world on the liberation of Baku on September 15 and reminded that the model of Turkic-speaking republics, Turkism, Islamism and modernization was put forward by Ahmad Bey Agaoglu and accepted by the great Musatafa Kamal Ataturk as a model of development for the Turkic world.
The book mentions on the founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk’s call “Azerbaijan’s sorrow is our sorrow, its joy is our joy”, and the architect of the modern independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev’s call “One nation, two states” and the eternal unity of the Turkic nation.
Turkey has rejoiced with Azerbaijan in all the projects implemented by both the Great Leader and President Ilham Aliyev. In all discussions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Turkey has become the right voice of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan has become the true voice of Turkey in matters related to the Republic of Turkey. Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis Ganira Pashayeva noted that September 15 is a very important day in our history. “Today is a glorious history in which the massacres committed by the heroes of the Caucasus Islamic Army in Baku were prevented and Azerbaijanis were saved. We need to strengthen the unity of the Turkic states. In addition to teaching our young people our common history, we must instill in young people that our common future is more secure for all of us. The book “We are Turks! Our Ceiling is the Heaven!” is a very valuable tool to achieve these goals, “Pashayeva said, thanking the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the authors for this project.

President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Efendiyeva stressed that the book reflects the spirit of the Turkic world. Deputy Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries Ali Yildiz said,the book “We are Turks! Our Ceiling is the Heaven!” embodies the power of our commanders, as well as their unity: “I believe that this book will be known not only in the Turkic republics, but all over the world.”
Alaattin Büyükkaya, a former member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, said that in the history of mankind, there is no other nation that has taken refuge in its own myths and cultural heritage as much as the Turks. “This is our great advantage. The Turks created history, but did not write history. With this book, history began to be written, ”he said, thanking everyone who contributed to the publication of the book.
According to the words of the MP, editor-in-chief of “Azerbaijan” newspaper Bakhtiyar Sadigov, September 15 is very dear to the staff of “Azerbaijan” newspaper. Because the first issue of the “Azerbaijan” newspaper created by our independent state is dedicated to the publication of the good news about the liberation of Baku from the enemies. “The telegram of the great Turkish commander Nuru Pasha was given on the front page of the newspaper and it was stated that Baku was liberated from the enemy, the government can come to Baku from Ganja. Such books are important in writing this glorious history and educating the younger generation. Therefore, I thank all the creative staff of the book, especially the project manager Mammad Musayev.

In the end, the author of the book Narman Gojaturk thanked everyone who took part in the event for the love of the nation: “I see a different picture of what I wrote. The time has come and we must write our history, we are one of the happy nations that we have a memory of.”
The head of the project, President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Mammad Musayev thanked all the participants and said that businessmen are ready to support such projects.
