The next meeting between the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control was held

A meeting was held between the “Advertising and Publishing Enterprises” working commission of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy. The purpose of the online meeting was to discuss the current situation in the field of public procurement and listen to the proposals of entrepreneurs.

The meeting stressed the importance of expanding the participation of business entities, including small and medium-sized businesses in public procurement, and noted that cooperation with the state regulator in this area will contribute to the development of the country’s economy. In order to improve the legislation on public procurement, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control is finalizing a new draft law and is working to integrate the necessary databases into the e-procurement portal to facilitate procedures in this area.

It should be noted that the commission for work with “Advertising and publishing Enterprises” was established in 2020 as part of the ASK. The commission serves as a platform for companies working in this field to discuss issues and make proposals. The chairman of the commission is Tural Mustafayev, Director of Marsol LLC.
