A meeting of the commission “Work with advertising and publishing companies” was held
A meeting of the commission of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation “Work with advertising and publishing companies” was held.
The meeting discussed the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on temporary processing, the negative impact of duty-free imports of printed products on domestic production, the high cost of small group transportation, high tariffs on non-domestic raw materials that reduce export competitiveness.
Rashid Chulagov, the founder of TUNA, said that there are challenges in importing goods for entrepreneurs to engage in temporary processing in the country. This prevents the inflow of foreign currency into the country due to the creation of new production opportunities, the establishment of additional jobs and the export-oriented products. It was also noted that the exemption from customs duties on the export of finished books and materials from abroad, and the high tariffs on raw materials imported by local publishers have enabled an unfair competitive environment. Director of Vitam Tehran Aliyev, founder of MOON Group Ruslan Guliyev has also performed. As a result of the discussions, it was decided to appeal to the government on all three issues.
