An online meeting on “Unfair competition and its forms: current status and prospects” was held
The State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy and the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation organized online meetings on “Unfair competition and its forms: current situation and prospects” with the participation of business entities.
It was noted at the meeting that great importance is attached to the formation of solid competition in Azerbaijan, and these issues are always in the focus of the country’s leadership. The development of entrepreneurship in a free and rigid competitive environment, the continuous improvement of the business and the investment climate are among the priorities of the country’s development strategy. Systematic measures are being taken in this area, such as improving the legal framework, simplifying administrative procedures, reducing the tax burden, and strengthening measures to combat unfair competition. It was noted that in recent years in Azerbaijan, the protection of competition, liberalization of the economy, etc. in which radical changes in these areas play a substantive role in the formation of a market economy based on solid competition.
At the online meeting, which was attended by approximately 100 entrepreneurs, participants were informed about unfair competition and its forms, measures adopted to ensure free competition, and exchanged views with participants.
