A meeting with Iran’s Trade Attaché was held at the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation
On June 10, Javad Muhajiri, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan, and Mehdi Babai, newly appointed Trade Attaché, were received by Vugar Zeynalov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation.
The meeting discussed proposals to increase trade turnover between the two countries and the prospects for developing economic ties. Mehdi Babai said that in the first four months of this year, the trade turnover between the two countries accounted for $ 135 million.
Afterwards, the sides exchanged views on the visit of the co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce to Iran and the upcoming meetings. In addition, an agreement was reached to hold joint B2B meetings shortly.
