A meeting of the International Coordinating Council of Employers’ Unions was held
A meeting of the International Coordination Council of Employers’ Unions was held on June 21. The meeting was attended by the President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Mammad Musayev.
Opening the meeting, Vitalijs Gavrilovs, President of the Employers Confederation of Latvia (LDDK), briefed the participants on the current situation in the participating countries and forecasts for economic development in the world due to the coronavirus pandemic. LDCK Adviser on EU and International Affairs, Deputy Director-General Inese Stepiņa made a presentation on sustainable development and crisis strategy.
In his speech, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Vugar Zeynalov informed the participants regarding the government’s business support measures during the coronavirus pandemic and the construction work in the liberated territories as well as preparation for a return to Karabakh.
Then the term presidency of ICCEU for 2022 was discussed.
