The Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation has joined the new educational program of ADA University
ADA University has launched the “One Teacher’s Manifesto” in-service training program.
On October 1, ADA University held an event in front of the historic building of the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary, which is considered the starting point of our national education system.
At the event, the University announced the completion of preparations for the “Manifesto of a Teacher” professional development program and the launch of the program from today.
The event was attended by rectors, 40 participants elected to the Program and representing our regions, teachers and principals of secondary schools in our regions, the head of the Gazakh District Executive Power Rajab Babashov and the President of ADA University Center in the United States Galib Mammad.
During the ceremony, an Agreement of Intent was signed between the ADA University Foundation and its partners to jointly carry out the restoration and reconstruction of the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary.
The document was signed by Chairman of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Regional Development Public Union Mahammad Abdullayev, Director General of NEQSOL Holding Yusif Jabbarov, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Mammad Musayev and President of the ADA University Foundation Natig Hajiyev.
By signing the agreement, the parties stated that they undertook to restore the building of the seminary in order to preserve its educational traditions.
Then a panel discussion on “ADA Assembly in Gazakh” was held. Rector of ADA University, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev, Rector of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Jafar Jafarov, founder of Khazar University Hamlet Isaxanli, MP Nizami Jafarov spoke at the discussion.
Rector Hafiz Pashayev stressed that classes will start at the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary in September next year.
The panel discussion, moderated by ADA University Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vafa Kazdal, ended with a Q&A session.
The event, which began in front of the seminary building, ended at the Gazakh branch of Baku State University.
Here, the participants of the “One Teacher’s Manifesto” program got acquainted with the newly renovated classrooms intended for training.
The visual format of the one-year education program will be organized at the Gazakh branch of Baku State University (in the first year), ADA University and ADA University’s Washington Center.
This year, ADA University has launched the One Teacher Manifesto initiative, announcing that the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary, the starting point of our national education system, will continue its educational mission. Architectural and construction work has already begun.
