Azerbaijani and Austrian companies met at a round table

On November 24, a round table and B2B meetings with the participation of representatives of Azerbaijani and Austrian companies were organized by the Austrian Economic Chamber and the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation (ASK).

In the round table meeting opening remarks were made by Vugar Zeynalov, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and Georg Karabazcek, Head of the Bureau of the Austrian Economic Chamber for Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia. Then, Deputy Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Fuad Humbatov briefed the participants on Azerbaijan’s economic opportunities and investment climate. On behalf of the Austrian Economic Chamber, Eva Weithaler briefed Azerbaijani entrepreneurs on the economy of her country.

Georg Karabazcek said that the main meetings of the delegation will be held in Baku. In April-May next year, a delegation of Austrian entrepreneurs will visit the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and explore investment opportunities there.

B2B meeting was held with the participation of Austrian companies specialized on tourism industry, laboratory equipment, publishing, transport information systems, information and communication technologies, software, construction of hydropower plants.
