A meeting was held with the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources

A meeting with the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources was held at the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Future cooperation, awareness-raising of entrepreneurs using subsoil and holding joint informing events on legal regulation processes in this area was discussed during the meeting.

Vice Chairman of the State Agency for Mineral Resources Azer Shukurov expressed concern over the country’s natural resources, especially the shortcomings in the use of subsoil in the regions, the environmental and economic consequences of changing the course of rivers.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Construction Materials Manufacturers Association Elkhan Bashirov expressed his proposals on changes in the relevant legislation and the rules of auctions.

Vice President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan Vugar Zeynalov in order to inform the guests about the organization, said that cooperation opportunities, especially in this area, would be useful to establish relations with the Agency.
