A meeting with the Cleantech Latvia group of companies was held at the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation

On May 5, 2022, a delegation of the Latvian group of companies “Cleantech Latvia” held a meeting at the the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK).

The meeting was attended by representatives of companies included in the “Cleantech Latvia” cluster. Acting Secretary General Kristina Mammadova gave detailed information about the activities of the Confederation, and the network of representation at the regional and international levels.

Thus, Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederations’ representation of our country in  the International Labor Organization, the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Business Council of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the Silk Road International Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representation in other influential international organizations and opening of official representations in more than 21 foreign countries in the past was introduced to the attention of guests.

Evia Pudane, Executive Director of the “Cleantech Latvia” cluster, had an interest in our country’s job opportunities in areas such as agriculture, water industry, information technology, vocational education, certification of construction engineers.

Latvian businessmen were informed in detail about Azerbaijan’s agriculture, agrarian sector, and especially about the investment potential in the liberated territories and the interest of foreign investors in this field. At the same time, it was emphasized that the Latvian experience could be interesting in creating clusters for our country.
