The Next Meeting Was Held At Mingachevir State University Within The Framework Of The “Meeting With A Professional” Project

On June 8, 2022, Mr. Vugar Zeynalov, Vice President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was a guest of the event held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) within the framework of the “Meet a Professional” project.

The moderator of the meeting on “Entrepreneurial university model: education-science-business triangle”, MSU rector Mr. Shahin Bayramov, first of all, thanked the guest for accepting the invitation and participating in the meeting with the student and teaching staff. The Rector highly valued the meeting as the first step taken within the framework of the newly established cooperation between ASK and MSU and said that he believes that mutually beneficial joint activities will continue.

Highlighting the main goal of the project and the relevance of the topic, Sh.Bayramov informed about the biography of V.Zeynalov, the vice-president of ASK, his active participation in the development of entrepreneurship and the implementation of entrepreneurship policy, his educational services, and his activities within the framework of international and local projects. Talking about the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills, strengthening university-industry relations, staff training and scientific research activities in accordance with the requirements of the industry in order to become a university of the new era, the rector expressed confidence that useful experiences will be shared and interesting exchange of ideas will be held at the meeting and wished success to the participants of the event.

V. Zeynalov, expressed his satisfaction to be together with the members of the student and teaching staff of MSU, thanked the university management for the invitation. V. Zeynalov, shared his memories about the start of entrepreneurial activity, said that the experience gained by public and social activism during the student period had an important share in his success in this direction. Speaking about the role of entrepreneurial activity in the development of society, V. Zeynalov shared his views on the profession, noted the different characteristics, main problems and advantages of the entrepreneurial profession. Talking about the main criteria of being a successful entrepreneur, the importance of inculcating entrepreneurial skills and habits in students, V. Zeynalov emphasized the importance of the potential formed by young people during the university period in achieving their goals related to employment and career development, and drew attention to his relevant recommendations in this regard. V. Zeynalov, who positively evaluated the recent special attention paid to cooperation with entrepreneurial subjects at MSU, shared his views on the potential development directions of university-industry cooperation in order to implement high-quality personnel training in accordance with modern requirements and efficient scientific activity. Then discussions were held on the topic and numerous questions of the participants were answered. The meeting held in a friendly format was welcomed with interest. It should be noted that the main goal of the “Meet with a Professional” project was to create conditions for MSU students and educators to benefit from the knowledge and experience of professionals on various current topics. Within the framework of the project, the Vice President of BP Mr. Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Mili Majlis Mr. Bakhtiyar Aliyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Pedagogical University Mr. Jafar Jafarov, Hero of the Patriotic War Major Mr. Elnur Shirinov, MPs Mr. Jeyhun Mammadov and Mr. Vugar Bayramov, Analysis of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy have participated so far within the project. Meetings were organized with the executive director of the Coordination Center, Mr. Tamerlan Tagiyev.
