A seminar on “Education of entrepreneurs in the field of public procurement” was held
A seminar on “Enlightenment of entrepreneurs in the field of state procurement” was held under the organization of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Mr. Vugar Zeynalov, the vice-president of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, opened the event with an introductory speech, said that such meetings make important contributions to the economic development of our country as an example of public-private cooperation.
The head of the State Service, Mr. Mammad Abbasbeyli, noted that institutional reforms were carried out in the fields of free market principles, anti-monopoly control and competition in the country’s economy, and he drew attention to the measures implemented in the direction of improving the business environment and expanding public-private sector partnership.
Then, panels were held on state procurement legislation and stages, planning participation in procurement, qualification indicators, contract execution, procurement complaints, visual presentation of participation in electronic procurement, procurement documents, submission of proposals, evaluation of proposals, procurement results. The seminar with the participation of 150 entrepreneurs continued with a wide question-and-answer panel.
