Cooperation Opportunities Between The Confederation Of Entrepreneurs Of Azerbaijan And The Union Of Industrialists And Entrepreneurs Of Kyrgyzstan Have Been Discussed

Today, an online meeting was held between the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Mr. Danil Ibraev, president of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, who opened the meeting, thanked the president of the Confederation, Mr. Mammad Musayev, for the active participation of ASK in the recently held “Bishkek investment summit”. He also proposed to further explore the possibilities of cooperation between the business networks of our countries and invited the president of ASK to make a business trip to Kirghizstan.

Mr. Mammad Musayev expressed his gratitude for the meeting and for the offer of cooperation, stressing that Kyrgyzstan is a brotherly country. He noted that the meetings and business forums held between our countries within the framework of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry were fruitful.

The head of ASK noted that joint efforts and closer collaboration would be required in 2023 in order to further expand cooperation. He pointed out that Azerbaijan gained a leading position in cargo transportation as a logistics hub, and emphasized the availability of specific cooperation opportunities in several fields. He proposed to draft a “road map” for organisation of mutual business missions and other measures.

Mr. Danil Ibraev, in his turn, noted that the Union has been developing a plan of mutual cooperation in various fields with regard to specific projects.  He also said that the import and export data for Kyrgyzstan, as well as the special information on available opportunities to expand the trade turnover, will be brought to the attention of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, it was agreed to hold business forums in Bishkek and Baku and to sign a memorandum on mutual cooperation.
