A meeting was held with the Ambassador of Serbia in our country at the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Dragan Vladisavljevic met with the delegation led by the President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Mr. Mammad Musayev.

The head of the confederation mentioned with pleasure that there are high relations between our countries in all fields, and the visit of our President H.E. Ilham Aliyev to Belgrade. He stated that the relations between our countries have risen to the level of strategic partnership, and noted that Serbian companies are interested in operating in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as in other regions of Azerbaijan.

The ambassador suggested that they are interested in cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, transport, construction and tourism, and in this direction, the establishment of relations between private sectors with the support of ASK. Emphasizing that among the construction companies of Azerbaijan, there are companies working with great success in Serbia, Dragan Vladisavljevic pointed out that a working group will be created between our countries in the field of agriculture. Sharing his views on the perspective of the Middle Corridor, the Ambassador said that they are interested in participating in this corridor. He informed about the opening of direct flights from Baku to Belgrade and said that the tourism sector will develop as a result.

ASK President Mammad Musayev proposed the establishment of an Azerbaijan-Serbia Business Council between the relevant organization of Serbia and the Confederation. He noted that ASK is ready to provide all support for the expansion of economic relations between our countries.
