A meeting with entrepreneurs was held at the Nakhchivan General Customs Department
On April 6, 2024, a meeting was held with the chairman and members of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Entrepreneurs Confederation, as well as other foreign trade participants and customs representatives, at the Nakhchivan General Customs Office.
The head of the Nakhchivan Chief Customs Department, major-general of the customs service Vugar Aliyev talked about implementing customs control through an automated risk management system, speeding up the passage of goods and vehicles through customs border checkpoints, stimulating entrepreneurship by creating favorable conditions for those who voluntarily comply with customs rules, and increasing transparency by minimizing official-citizen contact.
Later, the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Entrepreneurs Confederation, Vugar Abbasov, made a speech and stated that the new reforms carried out in the direction of increasing the level and quality of service in the customs work in recent times have made positive contributions to the facilitation of the work of entrepreneurs.
Deputy Head of Nakhchivan General Customs Department, captain of customs service Rashad Bayramov spoke about “Customs DEVELOPMENT Model”, gave a detailed explanation about 7 main components of “Customs DEVELOPMENT Model”, applied, ongoing and planned projects. Then, talking about the “Smart-Bot” mobile application, he noted that the application is an electronic customs guide that serves citizens 24 hours a day. Then the videos related to both new projects were watched.
Head of the Nakhchivan General Customs Administration’s Clearance Center, customs service captain Rza Rzali spoke about the Green Corridor Clearance System and talked about its purpose and advantages, and invited entrepreneurs to use this system.
