The Second Assembly Of The Committee Of Women Entrepreneurs Of The Union Of Chambers Of Commerce And Industry Was Held In Istanbul

The second General Assembly of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Türkiye was held in Istanbul. During the meeting, women entrepreneurs representing 8 countries came together and made speeches.

Sakina Babayeva, who was nominated to represent the Republic of Azerbaijan with the initiative of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation in November 2021, chaired the Women Entrepreneurs Committee of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Türkiye for 2 years, presented the report of the work done. S. Babayeva mentioned in her speech that since November 2021, the total number of meetings with women entrepreneurs of the Turkic world has exceeded 120. During this period, more than 30 visits to Turkic-speaking countries were organized, and in addition, about 60 projects and events were implemented in 8 countries.

The representative of Türkiye, Hatice Kal, Lazzat R. Kerimkulovna from Kazakhstan, Aijan Chynybaeva from Kyrgyzstan, Nodira N. Shotursunova from Uzbekistan, Gulbahar Illiyeva from Turkmenistan, and Yaprak Ozyalchin from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus participated in the general meeting.

According to the decision of the general assembly, the representative of Turkmenistan was officially included in the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs, and it was noted that it is important for the representatives of all countries to conduct negotiations in their own languages for the next period.

Later, with reference to the decisions on the statute of the Committee adopted in 2021, the chairmanship of the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs was transferred from the representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sakina Babayeva, to the representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lazzat Kerimkulovna.
