A representative of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation was appointed to the Republic of Belarus
On March 15, 2024, Vasif Sultan oglu Ismayilov was appointed as the representative of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Belarus.
Vasif Ismayilov was born in 1972 in the village of Shafag, Goycha District, Armenia. He graduated from the Faculty of Administrative Management of the Academy of Public Administration and the Faculty of Law of Baku State University. In 2017, he was the founder of the first trade house of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad – Azerbaijan Trade House in the Republic of Belarus, and is currently its chairman.
Ismayilov built numerous buildings in Minsk and Mogilev, in 2013 the complexes of the Embassy of Belarus in Azerbaijan. He was also awarded the “Progress” medal by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his services in the development of the construction complex in Azerbaijan in 2017, and the “Heydar Aliyev 100th anniversary (1923-2023) jubilee medal” on 02.02.2024 by Order No. 4289 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Vasif Ismayilov was awarded the “Order of Honor” for his great contribution to the development of trade and economic relations and investment cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan. This decision was reflected in the Decree of the President of Belarus dated November 21, 2019.
Vasif Ismayilov has been working as the chairman of “Ulu Goyche” company since 1998.
In 2003, he was elected the first vice-president of the Azerbaijan Sambo Federation, and in February 2024, he was elected the vice-president of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation.
