A meeting was held with Jordan Chamber of Commerce

A meeting was held between the delegation led by Mr. Khalil Elhaj Tawfiq, the chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, and the delegation of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation within the framework of the “Invest in the Digital Economy Forum ” held in Jordan.

At the meeting, the prospect of representing Azerbaijan at the forum in the coming years with a wider team, especially with entrepreneurs interested in the digitalization of the economy, was emphasized.

The activity of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the organizer of the forum, was appreciated and it was noted that it is agreed to hold the “Sustainable Agriculture Forum” in Azerbaijan as well. The Jordan Chamber of Commerce mentioned that local companies are already interested in this forum to be held in Azerbaijan.

In particular, the tourism potential, appropriate cooperation opportunities in the field of construction and pharmaceuticals between our countries was emphasized, and an agreement was reached on the implementation of mutual business trips in this direction. It was decided that both business organizations will sign a memorandum on cooperation.

At the meeting, Jordanian business representatives were also given extensive information about the prestigious COP-29 event to be held in Azerbaijan.
