STATEMENT of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation on the aggression of the Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijan

Starting from the morning of September 27, the Armenian vandals once again proved their policy of aggression by resorting to another provocation. Units of the Armenian Armed Forces fired at our settlements, as well as our military positions, using various types of weapons, including heavy artillery, from several directions and tried to attack.

Azerbaijani entrepreneurs were deeply shocked by the loss of life and injuries among the civilian population and our military as a result of enemy fire. On behalf of the entrepreneurs, we ask God to bless our heroic martyrs, send our deepest condolences to their families, and wish our wounded a speedy recovery.

Of course, as a result of adequate measures of our army, the enemy is given the necessary response.

Speaking at a meeting of the Security Council chaired by President Ilham Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev said: There were also Azerbaijani servicemen. Azerbaijan gives a worthy response to the enemy. Armenia is an occupying power, this occupation must end and will end. Our work is a matter of justice, and Azerbaijan will not take a step back from its principled position.

Taking into account the current situation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed a Decree on Martial law in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the measures envisaged in the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Martial Law” were implemented.

In the appeals received by the Confederation from Azerbaijani entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs stated that they were with the President of the country, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, our army and our heroic soldiers, and wanted to support them.

We believe that our people, including the army of thousands of entrepreneurs, will mobilize all opportunities for victory, complying with all the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the declaration of martial law.

As the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, we applaud all the decisions made by President Ilham Aliyev during the martial law and the difficult days of the coronavirus pandemic, and show solidarity with the Armenian provocation. We believe that under his leadership we will achieve new economic successes. We will do our best to make our country more prosperous, strengthen its military potential and improve the welfare of the population by taking advantage of the favorable business environment, mobilizing all our forces to further strengthen our state, expand competitive production and increase its prestige in the world.
