A meeting on “Business environment and investment opportunities in Kazakhstan” was held

On June 29, the representative of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zakir Binnatli held a meeting for our entrepreneurs on “Business environment and investment opportunities in Kazakhstan.” Representatives of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation abroad and entrepreneurs participated in the online meeting.

By opening the meeting, Deputy Secretary-General of the Confederation Fuad Humbatov delivered a presentation. The presentation provided information on the activities of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, opportunities for international representation, cooperation with international business and employer organizations.

Then a comprehensive presentation on the business environment and free economic zones in Kazakhstan was heard. Z.Binnatli stated the support of the Kazakh government to foreign investors, the main activities of Azerbaijani companies in the country, special taxes, customs benefits, rules for participation in tenders.

In the end, Z. Binnatli answered the questions of entrepreneurs. It was agreed on the terms of holding a special presentation for Kazakh investors with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ATAMEKAN) on the business environment in Azerbaijan, especially the economic opportunities of the liberated lands and the Alat Free Economic Zone.
