The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in 2020 is $ 13.3 million, and this figure does not correspond to the current level of close cooperation between our countries.
According to Bhatti, given Azerbaijan’s geographical location and economic potential, Pakistan can play the role of a regional hub for access to neighboring countries. According to his speech, in cooperation with large enterprises, work has already begun to export agricultural products from Azerbaijan to Pakistan, as well as to establish joint ventures in Azerbaijan in the field of light industry and pharmaceuticals. The head of the chamber said that one business delegation from Azerbaijan to Pakistan and two from Pakistan to Azerbaijan are planned to visit Azerbaijan by the end of 2021.
