Cooperation between Indonesia and Azerbaijan was discussed

On December 1, a delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Hildi Hamid met with Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation (ASK) Vugar Zeynalov and Deputy Secretary General Fuad Humbatov.

Vugar Zeynalov provided detailed information about ASK and put forward his proposals for cooperation.

Hildi Hamid said that crude palm oil and coconut oil exported to Azerbaijan, as well as oil and oil products from Azerbaijan to Indonesia. The Ambassador stressed that the imposition of high customs duties on products exported from Indonesia to Azerbaijan had a negative impact on export operations.

During the meeting holding of an online B2B meeting between entrepreneurs of the two countries, opening of the Indonesian Trade House in Azerbaijan, Ambassador’s visit to Sabirabad and Beylagan districts on December 10-11, and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ASK and the relevant Indonesian business support organization was discussed.
