Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities were presented at “ICCIA Country Focus”

On September 22, a special session of the “ICCIA Country Focus” webinar dedicated to the investment opportunities of Azerbaijan was organized within the framework of the joint cooperation of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the “ICCIA Country Focus” platform is a digital platform that aims to serve all member states for the development of the investment environment and economic cooperation in the member states of the Islamic Chamber. This platform aims to create awareness about the investment landscape, market and potential opportunities of the 57 ICCIA member countries on a quarterly basis, promote the countries’ exports globally for joint cooperation and business development.

At his welcoming speech ASK vice-president Mr. Vugar Zeynalov, gave extensive information about the activities of the organization and the cooperation relations established between the ASK and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.

Also, V. Zeynalov shared the information that the next 34th meeting of the ICCIA Board of Directors and the “Sustainable Agriculture Forum” will be held in Azerbaijan on October 26-27 this year. He noted that such prestigious events will play an important role in the integration of the private sector in the Islamic world.

Mr. Elshan Rahman, Legal Manager of Alat Free Economic Zone, Mr. Zaur Gardashov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Zohrab Gadirov, Advisor to the Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mr. Farid Amirov, Department Head of the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, made presentations about the investment environment and opportunities in our country.
