ASK received investors from Malaysia

On 3rd October 2022, a meeting has been held between a number of Malaysian investors visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani entrepreneurs. This event was jointly organized by the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the meeting, a presentation was delivered for the guests on our country’s economy, industrial parks, local legislation concerning economic aspects and investment protection.

In his opening speech, Mr Fuad Humbatov, Deputy Secretary General of ASK, provided comprehensive information on the activities of the Confederation and its stakeholders.

Mr Abd Manaf Bin Hashim, the member of Perak State Legislative Assembly, Special Advisor to Chief Minister of Malaysia’s State of Perak talked about the sectors of the economy that Malaysian delegates represent, such as manufacturing, maritime transport, logistics, tourism and production of fertilizers.

Moreover, Mr Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, Chief Executive at Perak State Economic Development Corporation informed the audience about the industrial and general manufacturing capability of his country.

Azerbaijani companies representing the agricultural business and logistics sector made proposals for cooperation opportunities as well as offering their products and services.
