A cooperation agreement was signed between the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists

On May 18, 2022, there was held the Azerbaijan-Lithuania Business Forum with participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Lithuania H.E. Gitanas Nauseda.

The delegation led by Mr. Mammad Musayev, president of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, also participated in the forum.

Within the framework of the event, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists with the participation of the Presidents of both countries. The main purpose of the agreement was to further develop bilateral economic relations in various sectors of the economy of both countries. The signed document includes issues such as promotion of trade, investment and services cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, provision of appropriate support for the elimination of obstacles affecting the expansion of economic cooperation, mutual encouragement of the parties during activities carried out in various international economic organizations and third countries.

At the same time, there was reached an agreement on conducting consultations on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Lithuania Business Cooperation Council in order to further develop economic and trade relations and expand relations between the business circles.
