Trade And Exhibition Fair Of Local Producers Is Held

“Azerbaijan Producers Festival 2022” was being held at “Passage 1901” by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA). The purpose of organizing the fair was to expand the sales opportunities of micro and small business entities and cooperation between SMEs, as well as to promote local products. Textiles, food, accessories, cosmetics, toys, household items and services were presented by more than 100 business subjects at the exhibition-sale fair. Speaking at the official opening of the fair, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBIA Mr. Orkhan Mammadov noted that supporting entrepreneurs’ access to sales markets was one of the priority areas of KOBIA’s activity. It was emphasized that in 2022, entrepreneurs will participate in the exhibitions and fairs held abroad and in our country within the framework of the support program of KOBIA. This contributes to the recognition of Azerbaijani products, the increase in the sale of products of SMEs, as well as the presentation of the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand to foreign customers and the expansion of export opportunities. Mr. Mustafa Abbasbeyli, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency, and Mr. Vugar Zeynalov, Vice-President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, noted the importance of such events in promoting local products and expanding the sales opportunities of Small and Medium Businesses (KOB). Within the framework of the fair, bilateral meetings and presentations of entrepreneurs who want to expand their business were held, an opportunity to exchange experience with successful businessmen was created, master classes and a musical program were presented. Azerbaijan Producers Festival, which started on May 20, will be open for Baku residents and guests of our city from 10:00 to 20:00 until May 22.
