Azerbaijani entrepreneurs met with economic experts from Germany

A meeting was held between the representative of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Federal Republic of Germany and the German-Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

At the meeting, Confederation was represented by Mr. Elnur Huseynov, ASK representative in Germany, and EAEU was represented by Mr. Hanno Stöker, Executive Director of EAEU.

During the meeting, Mr. Elnur Huseynov said that the interest in investing in Azerbaijan is increasing. At the same time, there is a strong economic potential of the country as a result of the economic policies and reforms carried out by the Government of Azerbaijan. The created conducive business and investment environment, the recognition of Azerbaijan as a reliable partner in the international world and the fact that it is an important transit center with a suitable position in the region, as well as the development of human capital increase the attractiveness of our country in terms of investment.

As a result of focusing on improving the investment environment in Azerbaijan, thanks to the application of modern technologies and advanced experience, industrialization has been developed rapidly in Azerbaijan. Metallurgy, machine building, chemistry, production of construction materials, food and other traditional industries have been expanded, and new industries have been created.

Mr. Hanno Stöker said that German entrepreneurs are interested in business activities with partners in Azerbaijan and keen to invest. It has real conditions and ground. In order to evaluate the existing potential, it was agreed to inform German companies and implement various activities in this manner.
