An international conference on “Ensuring transparency in the context of business and human rights” was held

At the conference on “Ensuring transparency in the context of business and human rights”, information was given on the role of business entities in anti-corruption measures, the responsibility of business in sustainable development, informing entrepreneurs in this field, and measures implemented in the direction of protecting their interests.

The event organized by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan was attended by representatives of state institutions, MPs and entrepreneurs.

At the event, the President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Mammad Musayev, informed about economic reforms implemented in our country, projects implemented by business within the framework of important public-private dialogue, corporate social events, the role of business entities in anti-corruption measures, informing entrepreneurs in this field, support measures.

At the event, the speeches of the Ombudsman Ms. Sabina Aliyeva and foreign experts on the topic of Business and Human Rights were heard and discussions were held.
