The 2nd Meeting Of The Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council Was Held In Shusha

The 2nd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council was held in Shusha. Officials and businessmen from both countries took part in the event organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Federation of Chambers of Saudi Arabia.

It should be noted that a delegation of officials and businessmen led by Ahmed Ali Al Dakhil, the co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council and the chief executive officer of the “Al Rajhi International for Investment” company, is visiting our country to participate in the meeting of the Business Council, as well as to get acquainted with Azerbaijan’s business and investment opportunities.

The purpose of holding the 2nd meeting of the Business Council in Shusha is to bring to the attention of Saudi Arabian businessmen the work done in the direction of the reintegration of our liberated territories into the economy, the business opportunities of the region, and to encourage their participation in the relevant restoration and reconstruction works.

Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov, Co-Chairmen of the Business Council – Ahmed Ali Al Dakhil and Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha District Aydin Karimov, Vice President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vugar Zeynalov, Deputy Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO Zohrab Gadirov and Deputy Chairman of the Business Council, Abdullah Al-Mutrif, who spoke at the meeting, and respectively, shared their views on the business, investment and export potential of both countries, including the opportunities for business and investment in our territories liberated from occupation, the prospects for expanding existing cooperation and relations between the business circles of both countries in the field of trade and investment, support and services provided to local and foreign businessmen in Azerbaijan, and the activities of the Business Council.
