The formulation of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Business Council was discussed

A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation with Mr. Archibald Schubert, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Hungarian Business Council and member of the Board of Directors of MOL Group.

Fuad Humbatov, the Deputy Secretary General of the ASK, said that the formation of the Azerbaijan-Hungarian Business Council is in the process of being started by Azerbaijan, and the process will be completed soon.

The Deputy General Secretary of ASK presented extensive information about the economic potential and investment opportunities available in our country, especially in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.

He said that it is possible for Hungarian businessmen to participate in these projects, emphasizing that green energy, construction, light industry, tourism, climate-smart agriculture and its development based on green technologies are currently planned for the creation of a green energy zone in these regions.

Archibald Schubert said that he was appointed co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Hungarian Business Council by Hungary through the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He drew attention to the fact that Hungary has done relevant work to determine the sectors of common interest for the formation of the composition of the Council.

It should be noted that “MOL Group” is a well-known Central Eastern European oil and gas corporation headquartered in Budapest.
