The president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan called on entrepreneurs to support educational projects
ADA University and the delegation represented by The president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mammad Musayev, as partners, participated in the event on “Unity of Education and Culture: examples and a new mission” at the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary.
Galib Mammad, a member of the Management Board of Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary, opened the event, which began after visiting the Martyrs Alley, with the opening speech “Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary after 100 years: New educational complex and perspectives”.
Mammad Musayev, The president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Israil Asaliyev, Deputy CEO of NEQSOL Holding, Shamil Azizov, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Regional Development Public Union, Ruslan Mikayilov, CEO of PMD Group LLC, Natig Hajiyev, President of ADA University Foundation made speeches in “An Entrepreneur’s Manifesto” panel discussion on the revival of philanthropic traditions in education and culture.
The President of the Confederation highlighted that in the 19th century, with the support of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs, our youth completed higher education abroad: “Many of our intellectual youth with higher education at those times returned to their homeland after receiving higher education with the help of the national bourgeoisie and entrepreneurs like Tagiyev and opened schools here.”
Mammad Musayev mentioned that during the 2nd Karabakh war and during terrible earthquake that occurred in Turkey in 2023, Azerbaijani entrepreneurs showed great patriotism and philanthropy, as well as implemented projects useful for our society within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility.
He noted that the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary was rebuilt under the leadership of ADA University Rector Hafiz Pashayev, one of the prominent intellectuals of our country. Considering the support of education and enlightenment as a priority, the President of the Confederation invited entrepreneurs to implement CSR projects aimed at the development of educational institutions in our regions.
A certificate of appreciation was presented to Mr. Mammad Musayev, President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, who actively participated in the restoration of the Gazakh Teachers’ Seminary from the first day.
