of the participants of the Conference on “A new era of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan” to His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dedicated to “Entrepreneurs’ Day” and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation
Dear Mr. President!
The socio-economic development strategy of independent Azerbaijan, which was founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, is successfully continued today by Your Excellency. As a result of this policy, stability was ensured in our country, and the transition of our economy to modern market relations was successfully completed.
As a result of the large-scale work carried out under the leadership of your Excellency, entrepreneurs have become the leading force of the country’s economy, healthy market relations, an environment of free competition, and favorable opportunities for the private sector have been formed. The reforms carried out are highly appreciated by the leading economic centers of the world.
As a result of your wise policy of improving the legislation and administrative procedures on entrepreneurship, increasing the efficiency of state support mechanisms for the development of entrepreneurship in the regions, raising awareness and developing business relations, the share of the private sector in the gross domestic product has been 83 percent, and its share in employment has been more than 78 percent. The achievement of such a high result makes us entrepreneurs very proud. We emphasize the attention and care you show to entrepreneurs with special gratitude.
Having taken its rightful place in the world community, achieving stable and sustainable economic development, Azerbaijan is advancing with great confidence towards the goal of becoming one of the developed countries. As a result of the implemented important measures, macroeconomic stability is maintained in our country, the diversification of the economy is successfully ensured, and a more favorable business and investment environment is formed for the development of the private sector.
Under your leadership, the liberation of our lands from occupation in the 44-day Patriotic War and the 23-hour local anti-terrorist operation ended once and for all the separatism in the territory of the republic, the full restoration of the constitutional structure of our country, and the increase in the power of our state made it possible for us to enter a new stage of our development history.
You are the leader whom Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have endless love for and always recognize as an irreplaceable leader. In the extraordinary presidential elections held in February of this year, Azerbaijani entrepreneurs made their choice and unequivocally voted for you to be re-elected as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Today, every entrepreneur understands that for the progress and future development of Azerbaijan, large-scale measures implemented under your leadership should be continued. We – the participants of the Conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the “Entrepreneurs’ Day” – assure you that the application of the newest technologies, the creation of new jobs, the return of life to our fertile lands, and the improvement of the population’s well-being in Karabakh and East Zangazur liberated from occupation , and in general, we will spare no effort in the direction of the development of our economy.
Azerbaijani entrepreneurs always feel the support and care of the state, and with your Order, celebrating April 25 as “Entrepreneurs’ Day” in our country becomes a great holiday for us.
We wish your Excellency good health and success in your tireless work for the further strengthening of independent, democratic Azerbaijan and the happy future of our people!
