The Confederation and the ILO are expanding cooperation within the framework of “COP-29”

On May 22, a meeting was held between the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation (ASK) and the representatives of the International Labor Organization (ILO) regional office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The main goal of the meeting was to ensure decent work, the participation of ILO members in COP-29, the upcoming joint activities between ILO and ASK were discussed.

The President of the Confederation, Mr. Mammad Musayev, gave detailed information about the business environment in our country, the work done within the framework of the General Collective Agreement and the Tripartite Commission.

Emphasizing that the ILO has paid special attention to the activities of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation in recent years, Mr. Mikhail Pushkin, deputy director of the organization’s regional office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, said, “You are doing more useful and efficient work. The opinions of international experts about the confederation are also positive,”.

He expressed that the ILO is interested in joint activities with the ASK within the framework of COP-29 and suggested working in closer cooperation.

Mr. M. Musayev said that an agreement was reached with the International Organization of Employers on active participation in COP-29, and the Confederation is ready to cooperate with the ILO in these processes.
